Has anyone had experience with pufferfish in there reefs?

Over the weekend, I accepted a friends puffer due to an emergency. My tank is mostly SPS, but I do have some wellsos that I'd hate to lose.

Should I risk it or will it be ok?

I'd be careful I have never had a valentine but I've seen other puffers thar will be cool for a while and then suddenly decide to murder everything so proceed with caution. Also with any puffer be prepared to lose CUC.

Is it a valentini? i think your corals may be safe but your clean up crew not so much. as they have the fused beak they will eat anything in a shell to grins its teeth down.

Shouldn't bother coral. As for things like hermits that just depends on the individual fish. I had on that didn't really touch anything if she was full another he would still kill hermits if they caught his eye right after feeding.

They may eat food from the coral's tentacles or mouth and may damage it. It depends on the specimen, not necessarily the species, whether it will eat coral. I have seen representatives within the genus Canthigaster nip brain corals, zoas, and clams. But I have also seen some not bother corals. Cuc is in danger.

I have one in my soft coral tank. As far as I can tell he doesn't bother any corals. It does kind of limit your cuc. I started with around 10 hermits and now I have maybe 2 or 3. He doesn't mess with my urchin though.
