I've been looking into keeping a Valentini Puffer for a while as i think it would be a great fish to keep but I also have a few corals already in my tank and am definitely planning on adding more in the near future, mostly LPS and soft corals.
I've seen multiple different stories of people having success with these puffers as well as people who have the complete opposite of this occur.
Let me know your story with These fish and if there is anything you can do to lower the risks of it munching away on coral or what kind of corals to shy away from when keeping these fish.
thanks

Hit or miss. Some will leave all corals alone especially if fed well, some will eat only certain corals, and some will find a particular coral. You have to be willing to rehome the puffer or the corals. We had a toby (blue spot) that would only eat motipora but would eat quite a bit per day. We rehomed as I figured he would eventually go after other corals in the tank.
