Does anyone else have one in a reef? I've had mine about a year now in my reef tank and has been invert and reef tank (except to monti cap) and everyone in my reef friend group gives me a hard time about having one in a reef. He really is a model citizen my ocellaris clown is the destructive fish in the tank lol.. Just wondering if I'm not the only one

I've had one in my 55 for almost a year and it's never touched any of my lps but I would be hesitant adding any clams because on occasion he will nip at a snail

Yea obviously lol I've never added a clam and haven't added any monti cap since the last incident other than that he's been an angel my clownfish however hosts coral to death when he doesn't have a nem

My clowns (Percs) are probably the meanest fish in my tank. They alternate between a Duncan elegance and a rbta throughout the day. At first I was worried they'd beat them up too badly but since the clowns have claimed them growth has actually taken off. They will bring in bits of food and feed them for me. I've read that maroons and clarkis can be pretty rough on their hosts though

I have an ocellaris with an oral fixation I've seen him chew on and kill mushrooms, as well as a Duncan I had

I have had one for a few years in my reef. Hasn't touched a thing... ever. I have clams, crabs, shrimp, LPS, SPS, and various fish. He actually gets bullied a bit at feeding time because he's a slow swimmer so I feed him by hand. Of course, if I didn't feed him well, he may prove me wrong.
