If I were to get a Valentini Puffer, how worried should I be about it poisoning the rest of my tank? I have a 45 gallon and the only fish that might cause it stress would probably be my ocellaris clowns, but they are still young and haven't shown any signs of aggression towards any of my other fish, but at the same time they were introduced before them. My other fish are 3 green chromis and a firefish. Do they become stressed very easily?

Generally the poison would be released into the water when the puffer dies or is seriously injured. They don't generally get too stressed out and there aren't many fish their size that will mess with them.

I think you would be okay with the fish you have now, I had a valentini puffer for a little while with a pseudochromis, a pair of clowns, and a sixline wrasse and it did well until it started eating my favia corals and I rehomed it. Eating corals and inverts is probably the biggest issue to be concerned about with these fish. Make sure you get one that is already eating prepared foods and be prepared to buy snails or some other shelled critter for them to eat and wear down their teeth with.
