Value?

When one cleans the aquarium glass, etc, does the removed material have any nutritional value or is it mostly waste product?

Great question. I like to think that the coral polyps and filter feeders capture it and consume it. It is technically small particles of algae. So I would say it holds some value

I know that on my tank, removing it has valuem. Its a good arm pump with an 8" long tank and great white magnet.
