My Vanderbilt Chromis is continually turning upside down to rub his belly on my overhanging aquascape. His exterior skin looks fine. His belly may be slightly swollen but it's hard for me to tell since I just got back from out of town. Has he got a bug? @Jay Hemdal

Yes, there is only one. He isn't doing it now and you may be right. It could be breeding behavior. It is exactly on the bottom of his belly. It isn't flashing like with ich.

It sure look like egglaying behavior. I've never bred that species, so I don't know how they nest, but I've had green chromis do exactly the same thing, but on a vertical surface.
