Vanderbilt Chromis: Do I have a problem?

I have 3 Vanderbilt chromis in qt. One does not look like the others both in terms of shape and then these white spots showing up. Is this ich? The other 2 look fine at this point. Here’s some photos.

I attached a video but the tank is at 2.5 copper power.

First fish look somewhat thin. Second - assuming that areas of spotting are not the same bubbles that are on the walls of the tank - looks like an atypical case of lymphocystis. However, if your chromis are extremely small the scale on your pictures might suggest something else.

The one chromis is really thin and is shying away from the other two. Aggression is playing a big part here, but I think that this fish has some underlying issue that is making it thin and allowing the other two to bully it. I can't tell you what that issue might be though - sorry.

Can you add a tank divider to isolate it?

this fish is thin and battered and appears to be a victim of aggression and isolation will offer it - best chance of survival. Was it eating previously and what foods were you offering?

Yes - the divider will ensure that the weaker fish won't get any worse, but that fish still may have an underlying problem. Is it eating today?

Yes! All 3 are eating

@Jay Hemdal I think the other problem might be showing. Looks like some sort of tail rot. Anything I should do?

The spots from earlier photos are now gone since I isolated him but the tail looks rough. He’s still eating fine.

Since it's a hospital/QT tank - I think you could add an antibiotic - if you haven't already - kanamycin or neomycin would be the choice. IF - its getting worse

Tough to see in the photos, but now that the fish has been isolated, any additional fin damage would be coming from some sort of bacterial infection, so I agree that if it gets worse, you should dose with neomycin or kanamycin.
