I have a new Vanderbilt Chromis in QT that must have come from the ocean because he won't eat anything other than live brine shrimp. I have tried mysis pellets, flakes, frozen food and was also going to try Maastick with some garlic juice. Another thought is to feed some of this other food at the same time as the shrimp. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Chromis are pigs in general. Give it time - they'll eat anything (I have 8 wild-caught chromis and they eat any and everything).

Agreed.

OP - you have an assortment of food it sounds like. Give it a little of what it likes and mix in 1 thing only of the other per feeding. Watch from a distance. See what it strikes and keeps in. Then try the next one. You may do a little bit of this throughout the day and you will see what it likes the most.

I recently received some pink square anthias, captive bred, but went through a similar process. Each feeding I would try 1 thing in addition to what I knew they already ate. Now I have a better idea and can mix it up a bit. Oddly enough 3 out of the 4 eat everything. One of them only pellets still :(
