Would this source if calcium chloride be safe fir Randy’s 2 part recipe? It looks like it’s 90 percent calcium chloride.

if 90% that could mean it's anhydrous. The improved diy two part uses 70% or so dihydride form. So you use less of 90% to get the same amount of calcium as the 70%.

It's probably ok but I would contact the manufacturer for an assay to be sure.

Thanks for looking. I did find the manufacture and sent them an inquiry. I’ll post back with the information they give me. I did find a link to the safety data sheet for this product. In the Composition/information on ingredients section, it lists 80-92 percent calcium chloride and 8-10 percent other non hazardous ingredients.

that sort of data isn’t useful. You’d want to know things like copper or tin, etc.
