I have an IM 50 lagoon, and I purchased a Varios 2 DC pump. The website claims that the pump has a barbed outlet at 1/2"-3/4", which is compatible with my 1/2" tubing for the aquarium. When I received the pump, the barbed outlet was in fact 3/4"-1", and the barbed outlet was not stuck together (like in all other pumps) - instead, they come apart. Can someone please provide a setup video for installing a Varios 2 DC pump, and give some insight into how I can adapt it to my IM 50? Also, the pump came with O rings - not sure where they go. If only Varios provided clear manuals with their pumps... Attached are side comparisons to the barbed 1/2" tip that came with the pump, vs my stock IM pump with an actual 1/2" nozzle.
