so my Reef Octopus Elite 200 INT skimmer quit working. I thought it was the controller so ordered a new one. When I plug it in the green light on the power supply is blinking. It should be a solid green. Any ideas? Is it maybe the pump that is bad ?

I tried that and they said to fill out a support ticket and submit it. And they are closed now.You may want to reach out to support at CoralVue. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing with your skimmer pump's power supply. Submitting a ticket to our support portal at https://www.coralvue.com/support/submit_ticket or just emailing [email protected] (that will start a ticket, too) is the best course of action from here. They'll assign the ticket to someone who specializes in the Reef Octopus brand so that we can resolve the matter as quickly (and to your satisfaction) as possible. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to assist you! Thanks for the suggestion! I will see if I can find one and check it out that way.Check the output voltage on the power supply and it's very possible you have another kicking around from a powerhead or old laptop or something you can substitute in place of the skimmer one, at least this way you know if the power supply is bad or not. They are usually quite generic common power supplies.
It was the power supply that was bad so I ordered a new one.
Good job on the troubleshooting!
So I saved myself some money there!
