Varios 6 to RSR 250

Hello, I am having difficulty understanding on what i need to get to reduce the barbs on the varios 6 to the barb the red sea reefer 250 has. Can someone help me out?

I should go into more detail on what i need help with. I have made one huge mistake that i caught before it turned into a huge disater. I initially thought the soft green tubing fit inside the varios 6 barb it came with. I really didnt understand how that worked till today but dont know how to fix it. I been running it with out any leaks and as i was moving things around it started shooting out water on the sides of the piping. I realize now its soppose to go over barbing but the Green tube provided by Red sea is much smaller.

Does anyone know how to reduce the barbing size or convert one of the 1-1/4" that comes with the octo varios 6 pump to 3/4 with a barb attachement? this is confusing me
