Varios 8 control with Apex

Does anyone know if the percentage is a representation of the lights on the controller? Or would 23% be different than 28% seeing that the same amount of lights are on the controller. Thanks!

I cut my varios up to 100% on the varios controller then used the apex to dial in my percent. So I would guess my 45% is 45% of max.

I'm actually having the same dilemma... The Varios 8 has five power settings, so I assume they're in 20% increments. So is it possible to give it finer control than that, running through the Apex? I asked the manufacturer this exact question yesterday, and they said it would still be the five standard increments, the Apex just adds integration, and monitoring.

But it sounds like you've made it work? I want to get the Varios 8 for my Reefer XXL 625 that I have coming, but I want to make sure I can dial in to where I want it.

I can’t actually verify because I don’t have a flow sensor but 45% seems slower than 50% when I look at my algae scrubber screen that’s tied into it.
