Varios 8 installation into Redsea 625 G2

Friends,

I am looking for an easy way to install the Varios 8 into my sump as my return pump. It has 1.25 inch barbed outlet which is too big for the 625 plumbing. Do I need to use a reducer in that short space between pump and the plumbing or is there an adapter that is 1.25 npt female with 1 inch barbed male on the other end so I can just use 1 in black vinyl from the pump to the return pipe?

In essence the following item but female end instead of male

Can you post an image of the Red Sea and Varios 8 barbs side by side?

I went to a local hoses and fittings shop and they made the contraption below.

I also found the same in line reducer rsumner is talking about on amazon yesterday and bought that.
