Ok thank you I got everything connected but where to I hook the black piece on to and what is the goal of the float switch and how deep should it be in the water. Basically where do I put it I am new to the hobbyHook the float switch up to the mount like pictured below. The top nut on the float should be removable so that you can slide it into the mount.
Then hook the connector to the controller on the side. I believe it's the bottom of the three connections on the side of the controller. There are some pins that need to be lined up, so check the orientation of the connector first. That's it

Alright thanksThe black piece hooks onto the edge of your aquarium, sump, or whatever else...The goal is that if the water reaches the float switch it will cut power to the pump so that it does not overflow.

Just wondering if anyone knows about these Varios pumps, when connected to an Apex, does the Apex recognize the float switch as a switch in Fusion?
