VarioS pump

In need of a new return pump. Looking into the varioS 6 or 8. I have a 150 bowfront. In general, what size tank are these two pumps rated for. I know they have gph ratings, but that's still foreign to me. Thanks for the help.

I ran the VarioS 6 on a much smaller tank, I would go with the bigger pump. You can always run it slower. They are really nice pumps and silent!

I have the VarioS8 on my Red Sea Reefer 525XL. I recommend the S8

I run a Varios 6 on a 93 cube and run it at the first setting, but also bought it bigger due to manifold for reactors etc. The 6 is more than enough for my tank. I guess it all depends if you are running other equipment off of it. I try to get my main flow for the tank to come from power heads anyway.

And by running it slower, it's got to make it last longer.
