VCA RFG pulling air on IM Nuvo 10

Just installed the RFG on my Nuvo 10 and loving it so far! I have noticed it siphons air pretty often from the surface like pictured (don’t ask my how long I waited to get that pic haha).

worth noting, I did buy the proper adapter (16mm) for the tank fitting, and I have tilted it downward as much as I can (maybe a bit lower than pictured) but still does it.

any thoughts?

You could turn the return pump down, or order another section of lock line to get it deeper under water.
