Vectra L2 flow rate and Hydros - bucket test??

Hi,

I have a Vectra L2 going into a 1.25" barbed to 1" to 1.5" connection to a Hydros Flow Meter (it's like this because I just upgraded from a M2 with a 1" output and I dont have a 1.25 to 1.5 fitting yet)

The output of the flow meter goes right back to my sump as I'm not seeing expected flow rates. At full throttle, with 1 foot of head pressure, hydros is telling me 1200gph.

Just do the good ole bucket test to confirm the flow rate? Seems like this is very low even with a 1" section.

The location of the pump to the highest point in the hose is about a foot and the sensor is about 2ft from the pump itself. Discharge of the hose is at the same height as the outlet barb.
