Are there any good long term reviews of these pumps?

Preface: I've been out of the hobby since 2016 and a lot has changed including EcoTech and their equipment options. I like the idea of controlling all my gear (lights, power heads, return pumps, dosing) with the Mobius app. I am building a new system and leaning towards using 2 of these in my design (return/skimmer feed).

I would like to hear from users that have been running these longer than a year. IMO it is frustrating that a $500+ pump only has a 1 year warranty.

My vectra M1's have run for 2+ years, and EcoTech customer service is absolutely incredible. The customer service makes it worth the extra cost for me.

Sure, I could just use the included controllers. What are your thoughts about Mobius?
It is a nightmare to deal with and I am switching out my Radions because of it. I don't know how they screwed up the connectivity with the bluetooth but I am tired of fighting with it.

My Vectras can run without Mobius so that is what I am doing. Eventually I will move entirely away from EcoTech.

I was given Simplicity as a suggestion for DC pumps and I am eyeing them, but it will be a while. I want to run the Vectras until they die. The Vectra pumps themselves are decent, but not for the price paid and not for the ecosystem.

My 2 cents.

Are you using a dedicated device like a tablet or your phone? I don't know if it would make a difference but I am thinking of using a dedicated tablet that will stay near the tank.

I use an iPad. I have used my iPhone. Either ways it is still flaky.

I run Vectra Pumps for returns on both of my aquariums. Best investment I have made. I started with L1 pump to replace my Reeflo Dart. Ran it for years until it recently started to have issues. Known issues on L1. I put my backup L2 into action and contacted service. They replaced the L1 no questions asked. Great service
