Hey all,

Awhile back my Vectra M1 stopped working for me. I had a jebao on hand so I swapped it out. Its been awhile but the pump would not start and I remember the controller flashing some different codes.

I took the pump apart today and when I pulled the impeller I noticed the seat/bushing/bearing whichever it is that keeps the impeller centered was loose in there. On side is domed and the other is flat. Which side goes against the impeller? i'm assuming flat but want to make sure that wasn't part of my original issue.

Thanks,

Matt

Contact Ecotec & see what they say. Their usually pretty helpful. I also have the M1

Edit: I just realized your asking about the Jebao right. I also had one of these & used it for water changes. one of the things I found was it wouldn't work from an extension plug, had to be plugged into the wall. sounds crazy but it worked until it finally died.
