I purchased a Vectra M1 pump and want to plumb it in. I am planning to use it submersible, but need to plumb the return pipe. Manufacturing date is Jan 2016. I am wondering if the fittings are BSP or did they change to NPT? Is there any option besides ordering the adapters or gluing the fittings?

I have not heard of any change to the threads, so I would assume it was BST's on the pump.
Using the blue collar and pvc pipe will reduce the return pipe size to 3/4" instead of 1".
The fittings from EcoTech are pretty dam pricey for pvc fittings.
I talked with 2 different people here on R2R that claimed to have found a cheaper place to get the fitting.
I tried one that was recommended ( flexpvc dot com) but while they said they had them, they sent the wrong one.
Someone else said they found one by going directly to Spears.

Thanks. I'm gonna do some searching and see what I can find. It's going to power a skimmer, so I don't need the full 1" I don't think.

I think I had read that, but thought they had changed.
