Vectra M2 inlet strainer?

I recently purchased a Vectra M2 return pump. Everything was in the box , but a strainer for the inlet to keep out larger debris that might clog or damage the pump? Anyone have the Vectra M2 running as a submerged return pump? What are you using for a strainer.

Got M1 didn’t use strainer but I believe after market strainer is available on eBay

Is there anyone that makes a 1.25" slip strainer?

I think the M1/2 is 1 1/2" on the suction/input side. You'd have to get the BSP adaper/couplers and a 1 1/2" slip strainer/screen.
