Has anyone hard plumbed in a Vectra M2? I have a replacement coming for my older M1 and want to know if the white adapters will still work for the M2 since I prefer to not use the quick connect collars.

Which model and what were the native threads?

Mine is the Vectra M2. The fitting that came with the pump I was able to use standard 1" PVC pipe and glue right into it..
I can take a picture of it tonight if you like.

If u had the m1 just use the old outer shell the four bolts line up

That's not what I mean. I'm asking about threading directly onto the pump volute. and not using the blue collars.

Yes, I am aware that I can do that; not sure why it's so hard to get an answer to my orignal question though. Surely there is somebody that has hooked a v2 up without using the collars. Called ETM, even they didn't know ……. LOL

Yea nothing is going to thread on the M2 threads at least in America

So the answer is no
Remove the M1 volute and put it on the m2 body

Apparently the answer is proprietary. I’m going to stick with the M1 for now and then eventually go in a different direction.

I know a guy ( I talk with via text only) that may have all the different parts from M1's and M2's and the original adapter laying around. I'll send him a text later and see if he can answer.

As far as getting a answer from ETM, I'd call back and ask again. If the person didn't know, then I would ask to speak to someone who did know.

I do know there is a difference in appearance between the blue collars ( M1 vs. M2) so the threads may be different.
I see the white adapters are not for sale anymore at ETM

I swear it’s like my employees at work No one listens
The white adapters for the M1 do not fit on the M2. As of right now there are no adapters to put on.
Remove the M1 front cover put it on the M2 and be done. (I’m pretty sure a COR 20 cover will fit also)
If you do not have a M1 you are kinda screwed right now if you want to hard plumb. M1 and L1 old white sleeves do not fit as it’s a different thread pattern (I posted a pic above) not found in the USA.

Thank you, that is what I was originally asking.

ETM said the same thing. But I was also considering replacing my M1 with the L2. That seems more problematic and perhaps I'd be forced to use the collars. I do like the vectra though. COR is an option, but a little under powered.

The cor and the vectra are pretty much the same pump (Only difference is the nuts on the cor are in the front cover) but the shaft is the same and everything else the controller maybe different tho but to me (I’m running both) the vectra has just worked for the last three years the cor has gone thru two power supplies and other random problems.
now I also have an L1 and I like it but there is no need for that kind of power unless you are pushing up ten plus feet. Plus no one really plumbs it correctly to get the most flow possible plumb it for 2 inch pipe but everyone runs it with 1 or 1/14 pipe the funny ones to me are the L1’s on the reefer series tanks in pluming them that small you are actually clogging it down and would be better running it at like 50% but why do that when you can just save some cash and use an M1 in the first place people just think the bigger the better but only so much water can flow thru a 3/4 inch pvc pipe
If you want a brand new rebuilt L1 let me know I have one just sitting
