To sum it up I’m dumb, what’s the purpose of the calibration on these pumps ?

I recently got a Vectar L1 and set it up in EcoSmart but my brain capacity could not understand the words or or the purpose of this calibration

Also what is the purpose of those charts on EcoSmart? They look like the schedule for Radions

I’m only asking because every day at the same time around 5 pm my vectra slows down enough that sets off my alarm on apex my top sensor going off and I can’t see why is doing this

This is the “schedule” I just want this thing on and constant all day except when I feed

Btw I didn’t create that schedule after I reset it it has its own schedule pre programed

Calibration is used to set your minimum and maximum flow based on your system size and overflow capabilities. I also found that after calibrating my M1, my drains stopped gurgling and the pump ran smoother. Simply delete all but one program point and set it to your desired % and hit program schedule and you should be good.

When you say delete all you mean all the points on that schedule? Also minimum for feeding? Or normal operation ? Why would I want a minimal set point ?

Sry for the dumb questions even after watching the set up videos couldn’t wrap my head around this

Yes, delete all but one point and adjust to your desired %. The minimum setting is to insure that there is enough head pressure to keep a trickle going so it doesn't create a back siphon.
