I replaced it so I could get more flow and to have controllability/ battery backup capability with Reeflink. Just upgraded to an Apex and am selling my S1 if interested

If you have the e170 rigged to an external sump. Then have an S1 providing a closed loop function on the existing inlet and outlets of the e170?
Potentially an epic way to get really variable flow patterns in a small tank with minimal tank footprint
