Hi Guys,

I have been waiting to buy a Vectra S2 return pump and a quick google search brought me to the BRS website and it was stated that the VectraS2 is "Reitred". But when i go their website then navigate to the vectra s2 it just says "notify me when in stock". Anyone know if they are realsing an s3?

Here is a screenshot:

I just looked and BRS says they have 31 in stock.

@Ron Reefman then that means you googled it and got there? Did you see the "(retired)"? If you go to their website then go to the pump it says they don't have any in stock. Not sure what is going on but I emailed them

I get the “Notify” button, navigating through their menu system. The “2” pumps are pretty new, and I’d be surprised if they were moving on from it already.

Any Ecotech second generation, aka mobius ready return pump is not available yet. I am waiting on a M2. I feel it has to do with the Covid issue and the supplies. It will arrive soon enough. :)

It's showing the "mobius ready" version as out of stock, and the non-mobius version as retired with 31 in stock. They are listed under two different SKUs for some reason.
I think this might be the exact reason. I thought the 2nd gen was mobius ready from day 1 but I guess it wasnt.

I received my S2 yesterday and it has a sticker on the front that says mobius ready so I really don’t understand what’s going on.

I bet it is the same as the vortechs. "New" ones have Mobius firmware preloaded, With an "old" one you just have to connect to mobius and update.

Are the regular M2's in stock? I wouldn't bother waiting if so. Have both my M2's running on mobius purchased back in December and January. Took all of 5 minutes to set them up in return mode in Mobius. I'm having serious issues with mine right now relating to mobius but I'm attempting to run them in closed loop mode so if you're just looking for a return I say order that bad boy

Maybe that’s why they are changing something? Maybe there’s a connectivity issue? Who knows. But I know almost all ecotech products are in short supply, that’s for sure.

My issue is directly related to the app, not the pumps themselves so I doubt it is that. Definitely supply issues due to covid. Premium Aquatics has the M2 in stock still but they are the only ones I found. I know that doesn't help you very much. However if you find an S2 I'd be willing to bet it is just as easy to program even with mobius not pre-installed.

Will the pump be the same - only difference being it's mobius ready?

Is it supposed to come out this year?

Yea, it’s the same pump, just has the mobius platform already in it, I think the lack of materials is causing the delays

Just heard back from bulk reef supply. After going back and forth a couple times I was informed that the pumps that say “retired” but actually are in stock are the NEW ones. They said they loaded the system with the new supply but for whatever reason it linked to the old file.
So feel free to buy them I guess
