Velcrow as in the hooked material that grabs? It is just inert plastic and polyester fabric, I don't see why it would hurt anything.

I don't know for sure, but if it has any adhesive on the back that would be my concern.

I think you can buy it without adhesive. I don't see why it would hurt anything. Making a diy glass scrubber?
