So over a month ago, maybe some of you remember, our 8 fish were wiped out by Brook or velvet. Not 100% sure which disease it was. Our Yellow Watchmen goby lived. No signs of it. Healthy as a horse. He is still in our tank as we were waiting for the water to cycle. Our QT is now ready and we are wondering will he carry this desease? We will treat him in the QT tank with Copper for 3 weeks however can he still be a carrier? We will start the fallow period tomorrow after moving him.
How can he not be sick?? How do we trust he isn’t a carrier.
It’s been a month already. No sign. This disease… hard to believe this disease which was so aggressive didn’t kill him.

I can’t explain why your goby didn’t die, but if you are running full copper for three weeks, and move the fish out of that dose and into a fresh tank, you should be pretty safe. Four weeks would be better though.
