Hi :). We lost our entire tank to what has been diagnosed either Velvet or Brook. We have one lone survivor a yellow Watchmen Goby. He is going into a new quarantine tank with copper for observation and copper to treat. We will start the fallow period in the main tank and do the time. Insert the sad face here! That said. Eventually there will be a time we can start a new but how will we know that the Watchmen doesn’t still have it and is a carrier even if he never dies from it. I would hate to do this again!!

Had a look at your last threat. You can trust both Jay and Vetteguy. Both are experienced. So brooklynella seems the culprit. Copper would not work on brook, but decrease immune system.
Velvet is a wipeout event left untreated.
You are right for the display to have to go fallow for 6 weeks. I am not sure about your little survivor. I would usually observe. Also the old threat of humblefish is helpful.
