Velvet Neon Damsel Eating Soft Corals?

I have a Biocube 29

Velvet damsel
Cleaner shrimp
10 blue legged hermets
5 snails

Two zoa colony
Green star polyp. (his favorite)
Pulsing Xenia
Kenya tree

I'm surrendering the fish to the lfs today
But will my corals make it?

I've read that soft corals is part of the diet in damsels but I don't want new frags to die.

depends on how damaged they are, most likely they will come back if not badly damaged

I keeo a yellow tail damsel with my coral with no issues.

I returned him to the store. My green star polyp didn't come out today so I'm hoping it helps that he's gone

Never heard of damsels nipping/eating corals... did you dip your corals? I'd suspect pest hitchhiker before the damsel. My .02

i also have a blue velvet that nips on my corals.
