Velvet or Brooke on my clown?

Came in today to find my clown covered in what at first I assumed was velvet. Whole fish looks like a white film on it (including over the eyes), and almost the “powder sugar” look.

I immediately did a fresh water dip to help give temporary relief to the fish.

these photos are during FW dip. I hung an acclimation box inside tank so the temperature was same- It appears slightly better while in the dip- wish I had a before photo - but can anyone tel from the photos of its velvet or Brooke?

Fish seems to eat fine. Any thoughts?

It looks like Brook to me. The FW dip will give some temporary relief but you'll need to treat. Do you have a QT tank you can setup?

I would suggest it’s most likely Brook - I recommend quarantining & medicating asap!

Looks like brook. I suggest getting a quarantine tank with some pvc and a sponge filter, and move all into quarantine. Depriving brook out of your tanks system takes 6 weeks of going fallow. Gonna leave meds up to the experts lol, but for this people do usually do formalin baths

I have everything for QT tank.
I have formalin, prazipro, coppermine, and a few others.

Im working on mixing up some water and setting up qt. Should have it set up and running today.

I only have a new sponge filter. It doesn’t have any bacteria on it. Should I pick up a bottle of bacteria? Maybe move a piece of live rock from the other tanks sump? I have ceramic bio balls in the other sump, I can throw a handful in qt tank? Would this work?
