Velvet or Ich!!

Don’t know if it can be seen in these pics but I know my clown either has Ich or Velvet but I don’t know which one or what to do to treat properly. This is my first tank and it just started developing. My fish were all eating great and swimming around but now the are hiding and not eating and one clown has gotten tiny white dots behind its gills. Any idea what I should do or which it is? Please Help Don’t want to see flame angel or others to die

Probably Brook since it's a clownfish. Brook can appear ich or velvet-like in the early stages.

Keep a close eye on them, if it is Velvet or Brook you'll need to act fast. I find these 2 threads helpful for disease identification.

Agree. Brook and Velvet are particularly hard to discern early-on. Brook tends to present as velvet spots towards the top half of the fish, particularly around and in front/under the dorsal fin at first.
