At first thought it was Ich, then the die off began. One after one, two tangs, three butterflies, coral beauty and my gorgeous emperor angel all
Within 12 hours. Untouched were two gobies, Melanarus, cleaner and flame hawk fish. I need some solid advice on what to do next. Tank unfortunately has coral and inverts…coral is basic stuff, gsp for color and a couple leathers and some zoas.
1) Do I leave the tank with the current stock in it and assume we’re good in a couple months or
2) treat the tank with formalin?
3) take everything out and run a copper schedule
4) treat the tank as is with reef medic?
Just need to know the direction to head correctly since losing nearly 900$ in fish was a real sad experience. Will the gobies and wrasses be carriers of the parasite or are they ok?
Looking for the best advice possible. I do have a qt tank that has a juvenile emperor and long horn cowfish that are very healthy and looking great, just don’t want to risk them in any way
