velvet has totally wiped out a tank I was in the process of tearing down all the fish dies except for 3 clowns a sixline wrasse 2 big eye squirrel amda large foxface. My dilemma is that there are a few rocks with coral still growing on them that I would like to save for my new build also there is a black widdow nem algae is taking over and I think that it will strangle whats left of the coral fragging the coral isnt really a option as they are attached to large rocks what should I do?

Id brake off the corals from the rock and put them in QT while you fallow/rebuild the tank.

I think I have a idea I am going to order a big bottle of vibrant and see if I can use that to manage my algae problem until I can get things straightened out I am going to try to catch what fish I have left the go fallow it sucks because I want to get this torn down so we can start refinishing the floors on that lever maybe i will tear it down and quarntine just the rocks I want to save and put the fish in another quarntine system

Yeah you could start a rock/coral QT. Let those rocks fallow for 2 months.
Get a 40g petco tank
