I see on line that many people are asking about vendors for good livestock. I thought it would be beneficial to R2R members to start a "Vendor Spotlight" thread to spotlight vendors we know to go above and beyond to provide quality livestock. I will start the thread with a posting about Joe Knows Reefs.

Joe Knows Reefs is located in N. Charleston, SC. Joe started up part time providing unique quality livestock. He now has his own store front and works full time on providing quality fish and corals. His signature corals are industry known and demanded.
For me there are 2 corals that stand out as the standard that most vendors look to provide to all customers, "Joe's Rainbow Acropora" and "Joe's Ultimate Warrior Chalice". These are but 2 of the outstanding corals that Joe provides, he has many more!

If you have a vendor that you would like to "Spotlight", please do so that we all can recognize the outstanding livestock available to we Reefers.

I have never heard anything like this from untold numbers of happy people. One message on the boards to complain about Joe??

Anyone else have a vendor they'd like to discuss?

Well, here on LI, there's a rash of bubble and hair algae growing in and on everything in most tanks at our LPS. I just looked, but some people were there to buy, and buy they did. I visit 6-8 shops regularly, mostly to look, but I haven't bought anything in 8 months.
My last purchase, $600., to AQUASD, was the greatest experience until I asked for help. No response until a bad review, then a staff smart-butt who, after 2 hours on the phone, says, "I would really have to see it, to help you. " Bad thread, don't get me started!

Salty, seems some have thought this thread was for vendor feedback. Let's all keep this for positive spotlights for your livestock sources

Gonzos coral. He's an awesome seller has nice prices and product and always comes with the freebies excellent shipping and packaging all around excellent experiences with him multiple times

Thanks for the tip, sorry for the negative, but the quality of on-line corals compared to LPS, is night and day.
But nothing is better, bigger, healthier, cheaper than corals from a fellow reefer!

No, this wasn't meant to be a feedback thread, just a thread to spotlight vendors we do business with and why we do it. This is "NOT" a thread for bashing vendors and I hope it doesn't become that. Members on this forum are always looking for a good vendor to do business with and the intent was to provide information to members so they can have a positive experience with vendors they may not know are out there and are looking for Unique and Signature corals. Thank you for keeping this thread a useful resource!

Does anyone else have a vendor they want to let everyone know about?
