Already in the system, so not much can be done to totally eliminate them, other than manual removal and/or smothering with small amounts of glue. I'm sure others have totally rid there systems of them with aggressive approaches.
Reduce any fine particle broadcast feeding to aid in slowing down population growths.
Personally they don't bother me in my system, so I just leave them.

Because, they have torn my hands up when I work around the live rock. I cut myself plenty of times, even with gloves on. I never seen the coral irritation part take place, it can happen. Every coral is different.This is just a frag tank anyway, why don't people like them? What do they actually do?
I've just dumped 25 bb snails in.Because they are the spawn of satan.
They are actually controllable with a mixture of Bumble Bee snails and super glue. I'm learning to live with mine.
