Vermetid control.

Question about coral snow. We started with 5-10 vermetid snails so I smashed them in tank and pulled some. Smashed the ones I couldn’t pop off. 2 weeks later we have 100ish. Does smashing them in the tank allow them to reproduce? Will marine snow help control them? Will marine snow cause Dino issues by zeroing out my po4? I used vibrant before and overdosed it causing a giant Dino bloom. I need to deal with these snails before they reach an uncontrollable amount. Has anyone else had them spread after smashing them in the tank? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem was smashing. They come back and even reproduce. Using a needlenose pliers or similar, you must break off cleanly and completely at the base OR place a dab of Gel Superglue over their tube opening
