Vermetid / Favia

Is this a vermetid snail growing in/on my favia? If so, can I save the coral? If not, any ideas?

Looks like it just put a dot of glue on the tube to kill it or use bone cutters and dig it out

Either GEL super glue over hole or what In my case would be taking a needle nose pliers and wiggling it off at the base and discarding it

My favias seems to grow right over those vermetid tubes with no harm to the coral. Is yours actually showing signs of stress?

It’s not stressed, but it’s not a fast grower. I think a dab of super glue gel is an easy first step (may try pulling on it with a pair of needle nose first).

My turbos each have a few dabs of gel on their shells as souvenirs lol
