So I noticed these suckers hanging out from underneath the backside of my gsp. Are they vermetids or just a type of feather duster?

Fan worm of some sort - filter feeders, I have never had any issues with them irritating coral

Its a tube worm and uses the fan to capture food. Although harmless can multiply. Simply starve and and it will vanish. They favor brine shrimp. Direct flow towards them - NOT at them and they will get no food

I have a thriving copepod population. I assume they’re the reason I have so many filter feeders. So starving it might not be feasible.

This one won’t have an affect on pods

What do you suppose these filter feeders are filtering out of my water to eat? I have a bunch of pineapple sponges and tiny little polycheate worms (little white shell with red fan in second picture) all filtering some kind of food from the water column, and now these fan worms.
