I had noticed some brown things on my snails shells about 2 weeks ago now they are getting bigger and I see there tubes starting to come out they are also on one of my hammer skeleton and a birdnest coral. Was wondering if I need to worry about them and remove them. Saw some people put glue in the tubes or pick them off with a test probe kit. Don't want to start removing them until I get some insight from u guys.

Do you have to remove the rocks or corals to hit them with the laser out can u do it through the glass?

My weapon of choice is a high powered laser, cooks them inside the shell... Works like a champ...
Have a link to what you are using? I've got maybe two or three of these things I wouldn't mind roasting.

2 more questions do you use the laser in the water or through the glass? Will there be a problem from killing them and not removing the dead vermited snail?

If they swim into the beam it can blind them, be careful if doing this with the fish swimming about..

I got that laser today the one you said you have it seems very powerful even with the glasses on I saw spots after using it. Didn't try it in aquarium afraid if the fish even look at the beam it will blind them.

Holy crap, I have a million vermetids, this laser thing is awesome sounding. Can you shoot it through the glass without blowing up your tank?

Seems risky to me the one I got is 3000mw don't know what is the correct mw but this seems powerful

I think all the fish need to be removed or some kinda wall to block the beam reflection would have to be crafted. O well I got a sweet 130 dollar laser but wouldn't use it in aquarium with fish.
