Vermetid snail?

Yes, a very large one. I'd take to coral out and put it in a tupperware and remove the vermetid in there. Then dip the coral and put it back in the tank

What predator likes to munch on these snails?

Not much. People have a hit-or-miss experience with certain wrasse and puffers but they will most definitely also go after your corals.

Is it ok if I glue the mouth of the vermetid shut with super glue gel instead of having to remove the coral??

I mean I guess. In the long run it'll starve and die and cause a nutrient spike in the tank.
