Alright so here we god. I had some Vermetid snails hitch into my tank on a snail shell. Here recently they have exploded. My problem is as follows...

The population boom I believe is due to increased feeding, reef roids (target fed on corals), and increased frozen food.

That being said, I have seen great coloring and growth with my corals by increasing the nutrients in the tank. Until recently I had undetectable nitrates.

I have a coris Wrasse in QT that I’m hoping with peck away at these critters, but do you have any other suggestions on how to care for them without having to cut down on nutrients?

Spirorbid worm for sure
Filter feeder

Thank you! I had no idea these were not vermetid snails, I thought I was in for some pain to clean them off.

I'll let them go for now, hopefully will make a good snack for my wrasse in QT.

In your opinion they're not damaging correct?

They're harmless. For what it's worth, I've never had any trouble with vermetid snails either.
