Vermetid Snails EVERYWHERE

Don't ask me where they came from. Couldn't tell you. I don't recall having added anything new in quite a while, but it seem like one morning I woke up and they were EVERYWHERE. Sharp, spines little jerks.

Anyone have any experience with them? Is there a good way to kill them off?

I'll soon be moving corals from my existing tank to a new tank I'm building and I'd like to not just re-home them with everything else. I figured on cleaning off each piece thoroughly, dipping them, and breaking off with tweezers any snail/shell I can see. Maybe that'll be enough?
