Vermetid snails help

Hi, I have a lot of whitish filaments in my tank and have identified one tube that I just superglued on this here frag. I need to know since it is my first time dealing with this, are the buds at he base of this hammer new growths or vermetid hives or something. Thank you.
 
Hard to tell what you have there since it's not underwater. Vermetid snails have a very distinct shell:

They can be scraped off and discarded. Hard to get to ones can be super glued shut.

Yeah the one I glued shut was very big and embedded to my hammer but others I can’t see yet
