What do you all think? I’ve had them for a long time. They come out from the largest rock in my tank which just happens to be covered in zoas. I do have some vermetid snails in the tank I can see, but I’ve never seen any of these tentacle like things coming from them.

Didn’t mind before but they are causing haovic on my zoa colonies.

Hard to get a good pic. Tiny tiny thin hair like think swaying around. Usually on the bare bottom but now touch my zoas.

The digitates seem to have thorns or barns on their tentacles. Atleast from the photos I’ve even. I’m leaning towards the hair worms/spaghetti worms.

Driving me nuts!!

They are good tank cleaners at least, they won't pose a threat.

Last week I would have agreed. But one of my zoa colonies has been agitated the last few days. After staring for an hour, I noticed the tentacles in it. I’m convinced that’s what is ticking my one colony off. Nothing else has changed.

The one on the zoas could be a vermetid throwing its slime. Had that problem before. Do you see a hard tube by the zoas?

Yup there are a few by there. Time to start crushing I guess. I’ve grown that colony from two to 50. First frag I ever bought, don’t wanna lose it.

Please help! I am new to the hobby, and have a 45gal that’s been running for 2 months now. Overnight I woke up to see my Mexican turbo snail with these long red/brown hairs comeing off its shell. The ends are white and there are about 4 or 5 on him. The longest is about 3in. They popped up overnight. Weird algae or parasite?
The only fish I have are a yellow watchman and pistol pair. Are they in danger? I have an untreated 15 gal qt if I need to get them out ASAP. Please help

Looks like some hair algae just scrub or pull off.

Sorry I should have mentioned the shell it is on is enormous. It’s a 2in adault turbo. I don’t know if this changes your answer, but I wanted to mention the scale of this picture. Also the blues are turned off for pic and they appear brown with blue lights on as well. The zoas are actually blue eyed blondes

Ya i still dont think its dangerous or any kind of worm. Does it remove easily?
