Vermetid Snails

I have a bunch of rock I dried after a vermetid infestation. The pieces have not been exposed to water for nearly six months. I broke off most of the old shells, but I wonder if the rock may attract vermetids again. Anyone have experience or knowledge on the matter?

Only way you will have vermetids again is if you introduce them. If you don't have any in your tank, adding the dried out rock is not going to attract them no differently than any other rock. Just make sure you cleaned/cured the dried rock of dead items before adding it back into the tank
