I am reading multiple threads. I know this is a old problem! Guys I was so careful with quarantine on my corals but the vermited snails made it in my tank! I’m sure lots of people said the same thing paying child support!!

ive heard bumblebee snails, urchins, and even lasers! Inquiring minds want to know if anyone on here has had any success story on at least lowering their numbers?

lasers you say?

The most effective way for me was to aggressively icepick them before I did my weekly water changes. Its the fastest, most brutal and effective way (superglue method is way to slow, too messy, and inefficient (when dealing with hundreds). Bumblebee snails for the ones that are not reachable for smashing.

Thanks for all the recommendations Y'all! my tank maintenance guys put 60 bumblebee snails in today. So let’s see how she goes? I also am gonna fabricate a 5’ acrylic stick with a plastic hard brush on the end. I am only using plastic as I heard wire brushes can contaminate your chemistry. The depth of my reef tank is 48” makes ice picks and hammers hard to do!
