Sounds like you don't know what to look for? If you have them, you'll know soon enough and very much hate them. They make rock look bad, they clog pipes, and they affect corals.

Not to mention when you go to move something and they pierce your skin causing you to bleed. Talking from experience, happened more than once.

Using the diy coral snow has dwindled their numbers so small I can barely find one anymore.

They are horrible. Think there webs must be acidic because any coral they touch im my tank they close up.

And yes if you stir up sand or blow rocks off they will put out there webs trying catch junk. Then you know where they are at and can clip the hell out of em.
