Am I dealing with vermitid snails on this favia? This one has been struggling since I got it. All of my other corals are doing fantastic, but this one’s been kind of sickly since it came into my hair. I’ve dipped it twice now, but I’m still unsure what those little horns are on the side.

Looks like them - be careful as they tend to spread like crazy if you break them off.

I have them in my system and basically gave up trying to get rid of them all!

a little difficult to see from the pictures but I think is. I had a similar issue like your on a mushroom. I simply just took it off with some pliers and the my mushroom expanded like normal afterwards

Please post pic under white light intensity to confirm. The pics are Extremely blue

Kinda looks like it. Pic in white light would be better. If it is, you can use coral cutters or scissors remove the vermetid. Dips don't help with vermetids. Make sure you remove all the tube, including the base, which is where the snail hides. The sooner the better because they can spread. If possible, remove the coral from the plug and glue it on to a new/clean plug.

Looks to be vermetid. Take a pliers and break off tube at Vert bottom base and discard or if risk to coral, place a dab of gel super glue over the tube opening and the vermetid will starve and perish
