Versa peristaltic dosing pump via on/off control?

Does anyone know if the Versa dosing pump can be controlled by power on/off and still work and retain the flow rate?

Meaning could it be set to a certain pump rate, then just control it with an on/off timer? That seems less risk to me for an AWC setup than to risk some sort of imbalance from a web app.

Thoughts?

Not a Versa user but I think this is what you want to do:

Seems bit retro but based on the description it should work.

I have used GHL dosers for
6 years and the web app has not gone haywire yet or the doser.

The premium price for the Versa suggests robustness of the app…
